Positioning, Stabilization & Navigation
Navigation
Traditional navigation solutions for GPS/INS systems use tactical grade IMUs to aid navigation during GPS outage at the expense of cost and size. The NavChip™ provides a cost effective, compact solution that delivers the performance needed to enhance navigation in autonomous vehicles.
Stabilization
As the demand for smaller unmanned platforms continues to increase, so does the need for smaller IMUs to control their active stabilization systems. The NavChip™ IMU, packaged in an OEM surface mountable chip form factor, offers the size and high performance required for stabilizing small gimbals, payloads and sensors.
Personnel Tracking
To improve situational awareness and safety, there is a critical need to know the real-time location of key personnel at all times. While GPS provides a working solution outdoors, a challenge remains for tracking individuals inside buildings, urban canyons, and underground. Based on its small size and low drift, the NavChip™ IMU is being used for the development of GPS denied tracking solutions in these challenging environments.

InterSense’s systems are used by film & game directors, computer graphic artists and animators to streamline the production process while allowing flexible interaction with digital content.
Biomechanics
Through our partners, InterSense's products are used in a variety of sports, clinical and biomedical applications. The InertiaCube is typically deployed as a body-worn sensor to provide feedback for movement assessment which in-turn is used to analyze and correct the users motion.
