Through our partners, InterSense's products are used in a variety of sports, clinical and biomedical applications. The InertiaCube is typically deployed as a body-worn sensor to provide feedback for movement assessment which is then used to analyze and correct the subject's motion.
Traditional systems for capturing human movement require expensive and fixed infrastructures that define and limit the subject to a specific tracked volume. The InertiaCube BT offers a sourceless solution that allows the subject to move freely in any environment. In addition, the sensor interfaces with mobile platforms via a Bluetooth interface for a convenient and cost effective solution.
Range of motion analysis for physical therapy, improving the mechanics of your golf swing, and vestibular balance are typical applications that use InterSense technology.
