Mounted/Dismounted Trainers

Training systems for mounted and dismounted operations, including infantry, vehicles and air controllers, utilize InterSense’s inertial tracking technology to provide realistic mission scenarios. The performance of our inertial-based technology combined with flexible OEM options allows systems integrators to produce solutions that effectively train our troops for the mission ahead.

From our IS-900 systems to our InertiaCube products, our partners develop training applications that expose the warfighter to combat situations in advance of deployment. This allows the trainee to learn and experience real conditions without being put in harm’s way.

The InertiaCube family of sensors is used to track the orientation of helmet mounted displays (HMDs), weapons and pose of the soldiers. Our IS-900 system is used for wide area applications requiring precise, 6-DOF tracking information of personnel, weapons and displays. All of our tracking solutions have optional wireless configurations with analog and digital channels for control and feedback of triggers and button data.
