Stabilization
As the demand for smaller unmanned platforms continues to increase, so does the need for smaller IMUs to control their active stabilization systems. The NavChip™ IMU, packaged in an OEM surface mountable chip form factor, offers the size and high performance required for stabilizing small gimbals, payloads and sensors.
With its low noise and high stability, the NavChip IMU provides the key performance specifications and wide temperature range necessary to control image and sensor stabilization. Leveraging the small size, system integrators have the ability to embed the IMU directly into the gimbal, which optimizes closed loop performance while reducing the real estate standalone sensors occupy. The low power and small mass of the NavChip adds additional value by decreasing the overall size, weight and power of the unmanned system.
