Chatten Associates Head Aimed Viewer

Chatten Associates utilizes InterSense's head tracking systems for enabling remote viewing at safe distances with their Head Aimed Remote Viewer (HARV).

The gimbal in the remote HARV unit exactly duplicates the operator’s head motions. The sense of tele-presence is so convincing that the operator’s vision processing is ”fooled“ into believing the operator is actually on the vehicle. The result is a three to four times increase in situational awareness and operating efficiency.

The HARV unit is a high-performance, low-cost solution to remote control of ground vehicles. The productivity of remote operations remains very high, even when the vehicle is beyond the operator’s line of sight.
