Ocular Robotics Stabilized RobotEye
Ocular Robotics is working with InterSense to produce a stabilized version of their high speed RobotEye imaging and scanning head.
Currently under development, the RobotEye NC is a high-performance sensor pointing technology that delivers unparalleled acceleration, speed and accuracy in a package ideally suited to withstand harsh land, air and sea environments. The RobotEye NC has aperture accelerations of greater than 50,000 degrees per second and aperture speeds up to 10,000 degrees per second. This enables imaging to not only move quickly but change directions easily – up to a full 360° horizontally, continuously. Stabilized with the NavChip, the RobotEye NC provides a unique, high speed gimbal system for ground robotics and marine platforms.
